There is no line in the sand that you have to be on on side of or the other.

Not everything is black or white, left or right. People you disagree with about

something or other may share more in common than you realize. Perhaps you can

meet in the middle ground an consider the points being made more carefully.

It could be that your long held beliefs do not stand up to scrutiny.

Many people are not able to recognize that they have been indoctrinated to

believe things that may not be true. We have been propagandized our entire lives,

and much of what we have been led to belive is not factual.

Engage with someone across the aisle, and you may find that

their ideas have some merit.
